Dan River Park Schedule & Events

Our local Farmers Market will continue until there are no more fruits and vegetables to harvest. Please come on Saturday mornings and sample fresh bread, April's Summer Salsa and freshly harvested fruits and vegetables. Also included are many craft items, bedding plants and mums. Hope to see you there!

The Farmers Market will end on October 9th. Hope you will join us in the celebration of a great year.

Every year the Dan River Park has held softball tournaments sponsored by the local softball teams. We welcome you to bring your families and friends to all of the Dan River Park sporting events for a fun filled day and to root for the participating local softball teams. Below are four teams that have participated in past events. Our Softball/Horseshoe Tournament will be on September 19th this year. Please contact us if you would like to join a team or form a team of your own.

The softball and horseshoe tournament is on September 18th 2010. We have four or five teams playing including teams from Stuart, VA, Primland, and teams made up of the local residents of the Dan River District.

Games will start at 10:00AM and last all day. Concessions will be available. Come and join the fun and cheer on your favorite team!
